Papers of Peter Collamore, farmer and landowner in Scituate, Mass. Most of the documents relate to land transactions in Scituate of Collamore and his family. Included are deeds, writs, scattered correspondence, an indenture of apprenticeship (1688), powers of attorney, and scattered Scituate town documents. Among the papers are inventories of the estates of Capt. Anthony Collamer and Joseph White of Scituate and conditions offered by the Rev. Deodat Lawson to preach at the Scituate South Church (later renamed the Norwell First Parish), in 1694. Other Collamore family members represented in the collection are Peter's uncle, Peter Collamore, Capt. Enoch Collamore, and Gilman Collamore.
